"I first visited the mountain in 2016 when I was training for my Mountain Leader Assessment" says Joshua. "I was greeted by a blanket of thick cloud and sidewards rain. Ever since I've been wanting to return to capture this fantastic mountain. I'd been keeping a keen eye on the weather forecast and realised that Monday morning looked like it was going to be the day. I packed my gear, jumped in the car and headed off on the 5hr journey to the mountain. Leaving at 1am, I drove through the night and reached the bottom of the mountain at 05:30. One of the benefits of this time of year is that sunrise wasn't until 08:00 which gave me a couple of hours to make my up to the summit. Here's what I captured; hope you enjoy."
