Has anyone got any advice or can you recommend make of boots for men that are for wide feet that don't slip at the heel, that are leather lined?

At the risk of seeming obtuse, do you mean climbing shoes? Or specifically above-the-ankle, old-school boots?

If the former, have you tried something like the Scarpa Helix, or Sportiva Tarantula? I seem to remember the Evolv Royale being quite wide too, but I'm not sure if they make those any more.

If the latter, the TC Pro and Boreal Ballet are the only ones that spring to mind. Evolv and Ocun do high-tops too, I think, but I believe they're synthetic.

Shoes, but unparallel engage lace are leather,  and recently reviewed on here 

Or, as a new user - do you mean walking boots?  If you do, then Altberg for a wide variety of fittings - not sure if they do a leather-lined one, but probably. Or Meindl Borneo, which are leather-lined
