Swivelable Headtorches

I bought the classic Petzl Myo RXP years ago, have been very pleased with it. I use the swivel feature a lot, it saves me having to use my neck to point light directly forward or more down at my feet.

It seems the new headtorches from the usual suspects are all much of a muchness and dont have any vertical swivelability. Am I missing something?

I've got the Petzl Tikka and that swivels up and down like that.  Older model mine, but I think the new one does it too?

In reply to Iamgregp:

Ah, that was not explained well in the photos, but I watched the product video and it does show the swivel.

Doh!

Some of the LedLenser headtorches have this facility. Frustratingly, it is not always made clear on their website which headtorches do have this.

Alpkit quark, does this and also allows you to focus the beam. Fenix HM65R-T does as well, and is super bright.

I'd have called it tiltable rather than swivel - swivel has a somewhat different movement connotation, something you do with your head other than tilting

My led lenser seo5 has this function, fantastic piece of kit in my opinion

Trying to think of headtorches that can't swivel up/down in some manner... struggling

In reply to CantClimbTom:

There’s pretty limited movement in the ones that Daleks have.

Fenix Hm65r is tillable and indeed super bright, and an actual game changer for me on nightly hill/wood walks. My Mrs wears my old Myo xp and she may as well not have it on she says.

last time I saw a Dalek on the fells it had improvised a light by strapping an Anglepoise lamp to it
