A short while back, I came across a small UK company making lightweight stripped down climbing packs from VX fabric.  

Wanted to visit their website again, but I can't for the life of me remember the company's name.

I've been using them extensively for guiding and photography work and can't fault them. Superb design and build quality, the only downside is the cost.
