...on Netflix.

Two French para-alpinistes and their amazing journey from a few years ago. I'd heard about it but no idea they'd made a film.

A great watch.

Added it to my watchlist recently. It's good to read a positive review. Have 2 long train journeys next week so it might get downloaded to help pass some of that.

One of the best things I have seen in ages. Thanks for 'heads up'.

Agreed!  Beautiful photography.  Enough chat to keep me informed and invested in their plan, but not so much as to distract from the mountains!

If you can find a copy on line of John Sylvestre’s Birdman of the Hindu Kush, it’s also worth downloading and watching. He was the pioneer of this sort of flying in the Himalayas. There is one scene where the cameraman is seriously bricking it as John flies metres away from the cliffs looking for an updraft to get them over a crucial Col.

it is interesting to listen to their comments about acclimatisation and exercise, and the difference between flying at 7000m and climbing at a similar altitude. Good film. Shame there’s no one doing similar from the U.K.
