Weather in Chamonix for the next week - worth driving down?

If you had planned to drive to Chamonix tomorrow from the UK, and were returning a week on Sunday, would you go looking at the forecast?

Medium length rock routes are planned.

Thanks in advance for your experienced advice.

Personally I wouldn't go, not because of the forecast but because it is a long way, a lot of money for one week. Two or three weeks, definitely yes.
