Hi all, I bought a pair of shoes from the french classifieds, they are the discontinued Scarpa Instincts S's. Great shoes. These exactly the same as the Instinct S's I see online, but they are black instead of orange. Everywhere I search online there is not any black version, only orange. Anyone know why?

What I do know is the orange and yellow ones had a reissue, maybe last year, and I got a pair of those. They only seemed to be available direct from Scarpa.

Maybe these are a limited reissue.

I want some now.

I like this shape a lot, and don't like the new model at all.

Were they second hand?

Could they have been dyed? Looks like the stitching I'd orange. Sometimes if you due things at home the fabric will due but not the stitching if it is synthetic thread. Though microfiber is also synthetic so I don't know if it would dye that black.
