Last weekend forcibly reminded me that my 20 year old Ajungilak bag is no longer warm so I'm in the market for a new 3 season bag, ideally as light & compact as possible for backpacking. I have an allergy to down so I can only consider synthetics.
It's been about 15 years since I bought anything so no idea what is good at the moment. Are there any brands or models particularly worth looking at or avoiding?
I already have an indestructible snugpak for car camping, so longevity isn't the most important criterion. It would be nice to have though.
