To celebrate the 55th anniversary of Val and Joe Brown opening the doors of their Llanberis shop we are delighted to launch the Joe Brown Outdoor Academy.
A sister website to compliment our online shop, the Academy focusses on activities, skills and knowledge for a range of outdoor activities. Working with fully qualified outdoor professionals, we have designed this site to work as part legacy for Joe – promoting his love and passion for the outdoors, while also offering customers a unique and free portal to access a directory of quality outdoor activity providers, access to key skills courses (both online and real) and a dedicated knowledge section.
The idea is that customers get a similar experience online to when they come into our shops because we’re specialists and that means that when we talk about kit – we talk about a lot more than can be included in a product description on a web page!
This past year has been a very challenging time for all of us and we remain extremely thankful to all of you who have supported us by buying online.
But this anniversary is not just about us.
We are one part of a much bigger industry from supply through not just equipment but skills delivery too. For many of our valued professional customers, times have been even harder and to say thank you for the years they have supported us we are delighted to have them involved in sharing their knowledge and skills as part of the Academy.
And this of course, is just the beginning……
