Sleep eh , who needs it.

I keep telling myself that , having real trouble staying asleep for more than a few hours at a time. Bugger.  I'm tired.

Plenty of time to indulge in some online shopping.

The random thought of some gravity boots (always wanted them since seeing them in the 90s) popped into my head and I've just brought some.

Will they just be a novelty or does anyone use them for training ?

My pull up bar in my bedroom isn't high enough, and I wonder if my gym would allow me to use them there

What are gravity boots?

You wear them on your ankles or feet and they have big hooks on them to allow yourself to hang from pull up bars.

For doing pull ups or just helping spine issues and compression.

I have visions of people suddenly realising they haven't the core strength to unhook themselves and slowly expiring  in their home gyms...

Thanks, I've known of these ever since the first couple of episodes of Twin Peaks (Agent Cooper uses them at the end of the night) but never knew what they were called.

I've owned a pair for years. Used for a back problem,  but now just for stretching out and a bit of training too. ( inverted crunches) . Have a sling next to you to get back up to the bar if you overdo it.

Way hey .

I can wear use them on my door pull up bar as they fit around the ankles rather than boots gives me headroom clearance.

What I've learned so far.

They are pretty nails to do more than 10 at a time and I excel at core work.  I can dragon flag and eat sit ups for a snack.
