Rucksack repairs?

Like many people I have a selection of sacks in an assortment of conditions. It would be nice to get them patched up and give them a few more years of use. Any recommendations?

I've just dropped two sacs off at my local seamstress to have the spindrift collars covered* - she said replacing them was a pain and it would be way easier and cheaper to put an extra layer over the top.  Depending on the nature of the job you may be able to get it done locally to you.

*the waterproofing layer is flaking off and bits stick to the contents.

Still says repairs, just not sure if they are as yet.

Thanks for all the replies. The bespoke rucksack repair options given are very expensive - £26/hr to repair a ruckask @ AlpKit? I didn't make that sort of money as a deputy head teacher or EMT. The Scottish one is also silly money. I've contacted a local seamstress who will do patching jobs and other such repairs  for less than a tenner. A new buckle she says she can do for a fiver, compared to £17 from the Scottish place.

Thanks again.

I've had various repairs for straps and bits and pieces done at my local cobblers, usually a few quid. They'll probably be reopening soon.

I've used Lancashire Sports Repairs in the past and been pleased with what they did (repaired a bouldering bag and resoling rock shoes). https://lancashiresportsrepairs.co.uk/

Alpkit do repairs. They have a shop in Hathersage, but no doubt have an online/postal service. The repairs they did for me were excellent, reasonably priced,  and are showing no signs of wear. I am quite rough on sacks, as, being old school, I carry far too much heavy old style gear.
