With talk of "air bridges" does anyone have any updated thoughts on when we'll be able to resume walks like the GR10 in the Pyrenees or the Tour du Mont Blanc.

I imagine the sticking point remains accommodation in huts with the alternatives being camping or a bivvy bag

French alpine huts are due to open. I would suggest a compromise to consider would be to carry/use a bivvy bag and buy a big lunch at a hut so that you can eat outside, rather than eat in the evening and sleep in a crowded contaminated dorm.
