I'm after some good quality aluminium folding trekking poles for a reasonable price for hill running.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to which poles to choose? Any offers would be good too🙂

Thanks Andy

I have used the Black Diamond Distance Z poles for a while now, no issues, Leki Micro Trail seem to be a popular choice.

I have some Mountain King carbon ones. Obviously reasonable price can mean lots of things, but I don't like spending stupid money on kit, so these passed my reasonable filter.

Mountain King trail blazers are pretty good. Not height adjustable but you can buy them in different lengths.

I liked the Z ones too, BD?, but they aren't as strong as lighter ones. Just a risk isn't it.

On long days out I like them.

I abuse them, throw them up and down scrambles, giving them to strangers, waifs, and strays who lean on them excessively. They still work. Store them folded and whack some WD40 on occasionally.

Camp Sky Carbon perhaps?  They pack up really small.   £90 online when I got mine last year
