I've got an old iteration of what I think is an Ascensionist jacket and think it's great - other than a poor hood design which channels water down behind the zip in prolonged rain, meaning an increasingly wet torso. Were there any signs of this in the review model?

(Mine also has a somewhat boxy shape, but that's more tolerable in a waterproof jacket than actively, if gradually, making the wearer wet, I think)

In reply to UKC/UKH Gear: Really impressive that John managed to take all these pictures of himself!

In reply to nufkin:

I never found this issue with the hood channelling water behind the zip. The hood was something I liked a lot about the jacket.

Thanks,
John
