I'm looking for some C1/walking crampons with very narrow toe fittings but that still have front points.

It's for a pair of Salomon S-lab XA Alpine. Currently have Grivel Monte Rosa and the toe on the boots is so narrow that it comes right through over the front points.

Any suggestions?

Same boots Finley Wild used on a winter Cuillin traverse? Unfortunately they don’t mention the crampon brand.

I use Kahtoola KTS steel on mine. Works pretty well on grade I/II terrain.

Thanks Mark, I have a pair of them and they fit well but I was looking for something with a bit more of a front point. Not that I'm going to be climbing ice in them but I do find it handy.

They're a different model so what they used might not work. One of them looks like the Alu Grivel things.

The Grivel adapter for wire bail to basket (Crampomatic to Newmatic?) is stupidly narrow - almost unusably so for my boots and I have small feet.

The distance between the two vertical bits of wire is 5.9cm on my ones.

Cheers for the suggestion. Does the horizontal bar at the front of them sit underneath the boot?

Edit: Just seen a photo that answered my question.

The difficulty I'd have with them is that I couldn't use the Crampomatic rear with those boots.
