Can anyone recommend me some new waterproof overtrousers please?

Used for all seasons and don’t mind them being a bit heavy in the summer. I’ve currently got Marmot Precip i think but these are now defunct.

i don’t really want to pay more than £100.

They must have at least half length zips.

thanks

dave

Paramo cascada. Marmite I know, but they have kept me dry on many a day of foul weather Even today when Hebden was cut off from the West due to flooding. That's about the 5th 'once in a generation' occurrance since 2003. They work, though some will find them too warm.

I got some Berghaus deluge trousers at least a year ago after hearing good things on here.

No complaints so far. I paid £40.

I use both of the above suggestions and get on very well with both.

Berghaus much cheaper, and I usually go through about a pair per year, but I work in the hills so in them day in, day out. Paramo are pricier, but repairable. (Repairs are not free, but are good quality)

If you go for Paramo, it's worth looking on their eBay seconds store. Some good bargains to be had!

Unless you lean against something. Or go out in the rain.

I've a pair of VauDe ones with full length zips made from their Ceplex fabric, they've been good for hiking in.
