Hi

Stupidly i packed my tent away last summer when damp and upon getting it out last week have discovered under the seam tape on the tent flysheet it's all gone a bit moldy. It's only under the tape and no where else on the tent.

Is it worth peeling all the tape off, giving the seems a good scrub with some mildew remover and buying some tape to reseal...

Or is it a lost cause and need throwing?

It feels like such a waste as the rest of the tent is in great condition

Give the seams a good dry scrub with a brush attachment on a vacuum and carry on using it.

I'd leave the tape where it is, would be a hell of a job to re-tape. Not sure what the mildew remover would do to the waterproofness of the material either. Personally I'd take advantage of this hot dry weather and leave it pitched in direct sunlight, that will do the best job of killing the Mildew. If the mildew remover is OK for the material then apply from the outside, it will get to the mildew through the stitching, then pitch in the sun.
