Hi,

I have a Thermos food flask and the rubber seal has given up on me.

On the Thermos website, they want you to buy a new stopper and spoon, which I already have.

It just seems a waste to buy a new stopper and spoon when I only need a seal.

Does anybody know if I can purchase just the seal or even repair it?

Cheers

Al

In reply to spartafan:

Get the dimensions (accurately) and then google food grade gaskets or white nitrile seals.

Can you cut one out yourself from a sheet of silicon used of baking.

Had a look at that option, but it has a small lip around the inside of the circumference.

I assume the lip must serve a purpose.

To make people think they can't make their own seal...?

What about trying some silicon sealant, at a push I'd try this before giving up.
