I saw this and was stunned . 

Absolutely fantastic.  

"Named The Secret of the Great Pyramid, the trompe l'oeil was made from 2,000 stickers surrounding Pritzker Prize-winning architect IM Pei's glass building, making it appear to project out from a white excavated crater" 

I've never seen anything like it .

It's a nice work.

In fact there is by now quite a long history of anamorphic / trompe l'oeil street art - not all on the same very large scale as the above of course. I think Kurt Wenner started it in the 1980's - but Google will help you find many more examples of such work. Julian Beever is a British artist known for the same thing - see e.g. http://www.julianbeever.net/index.php/phoca-gallery-3d

It's rather like a Film Set using illusion, but in an everyday urban setting.
