Dual-burner gas cooker for 907 recommendation?

Our gas cooker used to be the Camping Gaz Vario with two burners and a completely useless grill. But it's now past it.

What would anyone recommend as a replacement? Two burners are essential, a grill not so much. And it must be compatible with 904/907 bottles.

I really like this one by Outwell but don't think it would work with our bottles.

Anyone got anything similar?

This type are nice and basic, hold the heat once you get going.  Will need a regulator and hose.  Not lightweight!

We've had a camping Gaz Xcelerate 400s about 3 years. The pz ignition is a bit hit and miss but other than that it's pretty good.

It really is very difficult to beat the more expensive Foker branded cast iron ones.  They are the only ones I've come across that will give you the same amount of heat as a domestic gas hob.  We have them for our Scout Group and they are great.

One thing though, you will probably want to switch to Calor (larger bottles and cheaper) as they use rather a lot of gas.

As to what's *compatible* with what, with the correct regulator you can use either Gaz or Calor with near enough any butane stove.

and with the correct regulator you can use the (red ) propane bottles, better in cold weather.

Also available are self filling bottles you can top up yourself with Autogas, cheaper again in the long run. A few extra  regulations on this option.

On the cast iron ones you certainly can (they work best on propane, we only use butane because we already had 4 butane cylinders).  On some of the more lightweight types you can't as they can't cope with the fact that propane burns hotter, so this is worth checking.
