Thinking of visiting this weekend, haven't camped there in years... where does anyone recommend, cheap, handy for pub etc? Is the field opposite the public conveniences still open?
The Public Toilets are now an art and craft gallery. The field not only has a tap and sink for £3, but also a portaloo. What more could you ask for, the grass is even cut!
The campsite is the best cheap one in the country I think. The farmer is great as well and has three collies who ride around on the back of his quad bike. Well worth the 3 quid!
Yeah, he's so chilled and friendly, and the camping so good and cheap, that it's about the only campsite in the country where I'm actually eager to give him my money!
