Is there any 50-60l winter mountaineering rucksacks that can remove the lid and pass as 55cm high plane carry on. I've got a camera equipment that I usually carry in a smaller one. I looked up lowe ans osprey but the hard backs are still over 55cm high
Flown many a time with mine. Tuck the lid inside and it fits in the gauge, as long as it's not rammed all the way to the top. getting it out of the gauge again can be problematic though.
