Glad to see that the BBC now describes the mountains in Stage 19 as "more than twice as high as Snowdon" seems more appropriate for Geraint Thomas than this morning's description of "more than twice as high as Ben Nevis"

I assume they are referring to the Col Du Tourmalet which is one of the classic climbs of the Tour. It’s 2115m compared to Snowdon’s 1040m.
