Happy news story for a change.

Good use of a drone. Rick Allen is one of the hardest of unsung hardmen, so I can imagine why Sandy Allan was struggling to believe the worst. Age doesn't seem to wither those two.

Agreed. It seems that too often when I drop in here the news is bad. Great to hear of Allen's rescue. And if the drone can fly at 8400m, then they will surely find many uses on 8000m mountains.
