Other than the programming vacancy, are there anymore jobs in UKC/RockFax coming up?

Thinking of moving to Oxford one day, i assume getting out climbing is difficult?

In reply to GoneFishing111:

It's not easy but is doable

Castle Rock is the closest (an hour), with Symonds Yet and Wye Valley 1.5h, South Wales/Cheddar 1.5-2h, Churnet bouldering 2h and Peak/Portland 2.5-3h.

In terms of getting out there's a pretty good weekend warrior (and weekday for the more flexible) scene. Lots of car sharing.

Indoors the local is Oxford Brookes, with Reading, Big Rock (x2 sites as of the weekend) and HarroWall within a 60-minute drive.

In reply to Rebecca Ting - UKC and Rockfax:

I live in S. E. London so climbing venues are a bit tricky for me to get to - I don't mind the journey though.

For me Mile End Wall is my nearest wall.
