Did the Welsh 3000’s Saturday. What an amazing trek.

We bivvied up Snowdon Friday night and got there just as the rain was stopping, the clouds cleared and it pretty much stayed like that the whole night and next day.

beautiful sunrise with some cloud inversion.

we were carrying full bivvy gear so were not going for a fast time, did the 15 peaks in 19.5 hours. Happy with that and had a great night sleep in the Foel Grach hut.

The walk out back to Ogwen Sunday morning was extremely painful though!

sore legs for a few days but happy we’ve done it

Met a few others who were doing it too so hope you all finished.

We wanted to avoid the June rush!

Had the summit of Snowdon to ourselves from 21:30 - 05:00

It is a great day out and for the average hill goer, a sub 20 hour time is nothing to be sneered at.

We kept stopping to take photo's for the first few hours, the sun rising above inverted cloud around Crib Goch was just stunning.
