Hi folks.

I’ve got lots of nikwax ‘down wash direct’ left over.

Is there any reason it would be detrimental to wash a synthetic insulated jacket (and some nylon fleeces) with it?

Considering I wash my down jacket about every 2 years I don’t want to buy any more products unless absolutely necessary

My personal opinion is that it is all exactly the same stuff in different bottles. I've got no evidence to back this up though and take no responsibility if you bugger up your gear 

The outside of my down jackets are synthetic and one of them has a fleece bit of lining.   They are all fine.

I'd go for it.
