I am due a guidebook as a delayed Christmas gift.

Due to move to Cornwall (based around Truro) for 2 years from August, I currently have the South West Rockfax guide.

I will be looking to climb predominantly in the Mod-HS range, multi/single pitch. Also partially interested in any bouldering in the F6-7 range.

Does anyone have any recommendations for which single guidebook you would recommend given the above?

Thanks.

Due to the sheer volume there isn't a single guide. However, if I were you I'd start off with the Climbers Club Guides to West Cornwall: Bosigran and the North Coast as that has a whole lot of goodness at exactly the kind of grades you're looking for. There's a review I wrote for it here https://www.ukclimbing.com/gear/reviews/guidebooks/climbers'_club_guide_to_....

The second in the series - West Cornwall: Chair Ladder and the Lizard - has come out quite recently and is also worth buying once you've ticked all the routes in the other guide

As you already have the Rockfax the Climbers Club South West Climbs Vol. 2 might be the best thing to go for  http://www.climbers-club.co.uk/south-west-climbs-volume-ii/

Although for Cornwall specifically the new definitive guides to Bosigran area http://www.climbers-club.co.uk/shop/books/south-west/west-cornwall/

and Chair Ladder and the Lizard https://www.cordee.co.uk/Cornwall%3A-Chair-Ladder-Andamp%3B-The-Lizard-det-...

are fantastic with loads of routes in the grades you specify.
