Hello, has anyone here tried any of the Berghaus range of sleeping bags?  The Elevation 600 sounds pretty good - 600 grams of 700 fill power 90/10 white goose down (ethical), 1.26kg total weight, decent construction, comes with compression and stuff bags.  Price on Blacks' Ebay store is £150.

Anyone tried it?  Any views?

My Dad is looking for a down bag for winter use.

Cheers, Jamie

Fwiw the Berghaus camping stuff in Blacks, be it sleeping bags, tents or the soon to be revealed sleeping mats are all exclusive to Blacks & the sleeping bags seem to very similar to the old Black's Cosmos bags which had pretty much identical specs, though I've struggled to find reviews for them online. It would be worth looking at the Summiteer Glow Worm 600 on a similar budget with slightly better fill power down, although it is out of stock at the moment. They'd tick the ethical box too.

Can't comment on the Berghaus bag, but I'm thinking of getting one of these two:

The Hydrophobic down appeals to me.
