Alan Halewood on facebook:

Heavily loaded slopes from the Pottage all around to Fiacaill Buttress meant Glenmore Lodge teams chose to operate on the ice above the moraines and, with a careful approach in good vis, the Twin Ribs-although one of the teams did go above the Pottage and Abseil in to climb out. Equally others chose to ignore the avalanche forecast and walked up beneath Fiacaill Buttress and some other areas. Some of the windslab around was being mistaken for neve it was so firm but there was some icey refozen snow on scoured aspects. Softer slab seemed to be more reactive today. There was a lot of avalanche debris in Lochain. The path was polished to white ice in places by yesterday’s wind. (Read the SAIS forecast, understand the words that define the different hazard levels and practise using the BAA process.)

Alan is one of the guides. He knows what he's talking about.

Take care out there, people.
