Motorbike helmet with ear injury

Any tips for how to "don" a motorbike helmet with an ear laceration injury? It's been glued but still has scabs. Steri strips removed.

Try a silk balaclava/liner type thing.

If you're talking about a conventional full-face helmet, could you maybe borrow an open face or flip-front lid?  That way there's a little bit of flex to pull the sides apart slightly as you're putting it on, and it gives you a bit more room to sort of 'roll' it onto your head instead of just pulling it straight down.

Tape turban in proper a rugby forward style. At least that is what I did!
