I was about to throw my gloves (ME Super Alpine) in the washing machine with some other things and some Tech Wash, when a cursory Google suggested that'd be a terrible idea. More Googling hasn't turned up care/washing instructions from ME - does anyone have any suggestions?

I wore them cycling a few weeks ago and got them impressively muddy and sandy.

I just throw mine in machine, nikwax sponge applicator when come out wet, another application when dry. Seems to work, last ok.

I read this as 'Washing-up gloves with leather palms'. Disappointed.

Hi, if you wash leather palmed, or leather gloves. Just add a very small amount of washing up liquid when you rinse them. they will not dry or crack. Its an old cyclists trick for track mits.

Here's an innovative idea.

Put the gloves on.

Run the hot tap.

Wash your hands.

Apply a little vaseline or leather balm to your hands like you would moisturise after.

For the leather part, you can use a little bit of oil-based soap, such as saddle soap, to remove stains from the outside, on the inside, you can use cornstarch or baking soda.
