In case anyone's interested in this peak, I finally edited my video clips of a Tharpu Chuli (Tent Peak) trip in 2012. We ascended this 5633m peak via its North West Ridge (PD).
It's an easy route on a small mountain, compared to its much bigger and more famous neigbours- but its views were truly astonishing. Very enjoyable.

I agree quite straightforward and quite easy access but spectacular scenery. I still remember the only scary bit being the ascent up the horrible steep, loose morraine off the dry glacier. Did you get any footage of that?

You're right, I somehow forgot about that bit. Yes - that bit of the ascent -and then return descent- was very unpleasant. Far too much loose rocks on steep ground. I didn't take any photos or films of this section - I just kept carefully moving, hoping everybody (especially those above me!) was very careful (which we all were).
