I just love the way it's all set in a 'current technology gone horribly wrong in the future" way...but also where you're thinking "I can see the current technology they're talking about...but it could never get that bad, could it?!?!?!

Great stuff.

Also good to have a happy ending for a change.

In reply to Stichtplate:

Yeah! I think two of them would pass as happy endings.

And no one having sex with farm animals either...

Bit harsh to suggest MP's are farm animals.

episode 3 was unbelievably crap sadly but 1 and 2 were good

Didn't like USS Callister. The concept has already been used (White Christmas), and it was just generally really stupid. Recreating whole people in software from DNA on a coffee cup? Please. It did make me laugh, and the idea of a meta-sci-fi with the excuse for parody (blue skin...kinda racist!) entwined in the concept was decent BM stuff. Hope it's not the best one!

Come on Jon, this episode wasn't taking itself too seriously so the viewer shouldn't either. It was implausible but thought provoking (IMO). I enjoyed it .

Actually I thought it was, mostly because it didn't take itself too seriously.

I thought the last episode was the weakest, but it's possible I was irritated early on by that "You only use X% of your brain" bollocks.

We only use 33% of a traffic light at any given moment... think how efficient they'd be if we had them all completely lit up, all the time!
