Yonder is recruiting.

Yonder is the latest addition to London’s growing climbing scene and we’re on the hunt for staff. We’ve got a few key roles mapped out, but the important thing to us is fostering a team of diverse, exciting people and building specific roles around that.

We’re offering something slightly different to most walls. As well as a top spec bouldering facility, Yonder will house a fully equipped co-work space and workshop, a dedicated yoga studio and a bar and café. It will be a space for people to work, play, create and unwind; a focal point for the local community. Check out the link to our Kickstarter video for a little more information on the concept.

We will need the usual mix of route setters, instructors and receptionists, as well as yoga instructors, chefs and baristas. If you can fulfil any of these roles or if you feel you can bring something interesting and different to the team, we’d love to hear from you. Yonder is going to be an inspiring place; a melting pot of activity and creativity. Our staff are going to be integral in building and nurturing this community.

The main roles we’re trying to fill at this stage are Route setter manager, Chief instructor, Duty Managers and Centre manager. These positions will be a major part of the team and have a huge influence on the centre as a whole, so we want to get the right people. Being involved before the opening of the centre is a great opportunity to have your input on the feel and running of the place.

- We are open to both candidates who would like to take this on as a full time role and take on other duties within the centre or a candidate who would focus purely on route setting on a part time basis.

- Working with the centre manager to construct and maintain a schedule of professional development for all instructors, including both in house training and external qualifications.

- You will ensure compliance with health and safety and performance standards, and will motivate and develop your team to be the best they can.
