Hi there
Any ideas how to remove tree sap without damaging fabric? I lent against a tree whilst wearing my Rab Flux top for the first time. I've washing it but the saps now embedded.
Thanks in advance

I'm not sure, but for chewing gum you put the clothes in the freezer and the gum goes brittle and you can get it off easily. Worth a try.

You could also try alcohol hand gel.

To remove candle wax you can iron it with an absorbent kitchen towel between iron and fabric. Works a treat and may be worth a (cautious) try.

For pine resin I've used meths to good effect. What type of tree was it ?

Don't panic! Pine resin comes off in a couple of washes. Got it all over my tent and when it dried it just washed off.

Otherwise surgical spirit will leave less taint than meths

ok thanks. I won't rush into anything yet. Its not in a really obvious place luckily but as the tops new its a bit annoying.
