Suggestions for a sub £100 lightweight jacket that wont be wetter from the inside than out in the rain?

Just over your price line, but go outdoors had some montane spine jackets recently at 125 for goretex active.

If you're running or doing something else highly active, I'd probably compromise on the waterproofing and go for something lightweight and breathable but only partially waterproof like the Rab Vapour-Rise.

Yeah I've got a vr top, great bit of kit but no use in real rain up a mountain
