We're off to London in a few weeks, planning on seeing a show on the Saturday night. Previously we've always prebooked tickets.
Can anyone give advice on the last minute tickets you can get at say Leicester Square. We're a family of 4 so would ideally like to sit together.
Not that fussy about what we'd see, but how easy is it especially on a Saturday night, how cheap is it, and what are the best ways of doing this?

Any advice greatly appreciated.

You can only buy tickets at the booth, no online or phone sales. Its very much pot luck as to whats available at a reduced price, you can check out their site to see what's available for today as an example.

They often have tickets for the more popular shows available at the same price as you'd pay at he theatre as its run by "SOLT" http://solt.co.uk

In Leicester Square usually the best place to go and get tickets (at least where I always go) is the Tckts booth which is just of the green part of the square in its own building.

It's the same place kmhphoto has suggested.
All the prices are under the What's on Sale section. This continually updates as the days go by with different performances.

Cheers - is it difficult on a Saturday evening, do we need to get there early?
