This poor country, they do suffer badly from both natural and political disasters

It's so sad because they are such lovely, welcoming and robust people, who until the advent of tourism lived in terrible poverty, a many still do.

That's awful. Visited last year. I'm trying to get in touch with the lad who guided us around Nepal and Pokhara to see if he is affected at all by this but no response. Fired off a mail to the hotel he worked for. Top lad.
