I'm after some advice from the skiers of the parish.

I'm looking for a book on ski touring to give someone with previous ST experience as a present. Content could be technique, classic routes or simply a coffee table book with lots of stunning pictures. Ideally not simply a guide book.

As I have no experience in this area all and any advice would be gratefully received.

Thanks

Free Skiing - How to adapt to the mountain

It's a bit dated but a table book with a lot of info.

If this is for Jon, he defo needs a book on technique!!! : )

But whoever it's for, another vote for Bruce Goodlad's 'Ski Touring'. Published by Pedsa Press.

This was super interesting:
The Log of a Snow Survey

I somehow got it on my ereader, but can't find it now... would be a nice hardback present
