Come along to our next gathering of Lakes climbers and walkers and get involved in the work of the BMC. The June meeting will be held at the Climbers’ Club hut in Borrowdale, and as it’s the summer meeting, we’ll have a barbecue too (weather permitting).

BMC area meetings are run by volunteers and are your chance to join in with debate and influence decisions about what happens in your area as well as the rest of the country. Discussion topics will include: Cumbria Bolt Fund developments: yellow paint on mountain bike trails; composting toilets at crags; and the proposed lease of Glenridding Common to the John Muir Trust.
