Lake District 24 hour record

Adam Perry had another attempt at Mark Hartell's Lake District 24 hour record yesterday, he was attempting 78 peaks in 24 hours. Looks like it went wrong on the way to Whiteside, just an hour from the end. His track and schedule is here. I believe it's his 4th attempt, bloody hard luck.

Really close, weather went to crap through the night, or else he was on it. Unlucky.

How have you deduced it went wrong on Whiteside, the track looks OK to me ?

He lost about 10 minutes on the schedule on the way to Whiteside and so must have been either knackered or wet rock, or some sort of problem. I'm guessing though.
