Yonder is recruiting.
Opening later this summer, Yonder is the latest addition to London’s growing climbing scene and we’re on the hunt for staff. We’ve got a few key roles mapped out, but the important thing to us is fostering a team of diverse, exciting people and building specific roles around that.
We like to think we’re offering something slightly different to most walls. As well as a fantastic bouldering facility, Yonder will house a fully equipped co-work space and workshop, creating a space for people to work, play, create, unwind and become a focal point for all aspects of the local community. Naturally we will need the usual mix of route setters, instructors and receptionists, as well as yoga instructors for our dedicated yoga studio and chefs and baristas for our café, but if you feel you can bring something interesting and different to the team, we’d love to hear from you.
The main roles we’re trying to fill at this stage however are head route setter and chief instructor. We are well aware that we’re starting the hunt early, but these two positions will be a major part of the team and have a huge influence on the centre as a whole, so we want to get the right people. Equally, the entire centre has been designed and manufactured in house and with the on site workshop, will be something that is continually evolving. We see these two roles as being a key part of on-going wall modifications and alterations, so being involved from an early stage is a great opportunity on both sides.
