Because it's easy to let this stuff slip, and because I am the kind of person who was Book Monitor at primary school: I thought I'd post a reminder that all proxy voting forms have to be received by the BMC by 11am on the 20th of April.

Therefore, if you can't attend the AGM in person but would like to have a say, you need to get your forms posted (or scanned and e-mailed):

https://www.thebmc.co.uk/bmc-agm-proxy-voting-explained

If you're attending the AGM, have already posted your proxy vote, or just don't care, please feel free to ignore this post.

Thanks for the heads up.
I'm not the kind of person who normally bothers voting on this kind of thing and only read this thread because I had no idea what a MONC was . I'm assuming there has been a "few" threads about this that I have subconsciously ignored , could somebody point me at the most current so I can express my incredulity ( is that a word ?) . Actually I'll do it here , apologies to the OP.
They are volunteers ffs . They give lots of time for nothing and do their best. Sometimes they get it wrong . But what do I say my kids, or myself for that matter , when they ( I) make a mistake ? Own up , learn from it , move on. I think that's what already happened ? In my humble opinion this "MONC" a massive waste of time and resources that will damage the BMC whatever the result . I will bother to vote to show them my support .

"Incredulity" is definitely a word, and very applicable here, I think ...

The most current threads would be these two, I think:

https://www.ukhillwalking.com/forums/t.php?n=661216
https://www.ukhillwalking.com/forums/t.php?n=661774

In the unlikely event that you want to dive into them, here are some of the older threads:

https://www.ukhillwalking.com/forums/t.php?n=660614
https://www.ukhillwalking.com/forums/t.php?n=660774
https://www.ukhillwalking.com/forums/t.php?n=659967

Er, "enjoy"? *g*

Glad I could provide a heads-up, and thank you for bothering!

If the web gods are in our favour, it'll be livecast. Failing that, updates via FB, Twitter and Instagram.

A web article will follow, most likely Monday.
