Reading an old thread made me realise how entertaining, and informative, it was.

Since the thread was in 2005 has IF only been climbed since by Dave MacLeod or have others followed?

That was a superb thread. "Mount Ogwen" has always stuck in my mind too. I noticed a new user called DJViper on another thread. Could it be??

I must admit I was rather hoping that DJ viper was the user name for a (then) very young Calum Muskett.
