Good morning,

I am making plans for the High Atals this May. I am considering the Eastern High Atlas as I have been told this is a bit more remote. Has anyone been here before or does anyone know of any trip reports within this region that i can have a read of? I am looking for a region that I can go backpacking and ideally get some summer IML QMD's. I am wondering what the weather conditions are like at this time of year within that region - I've managed to find a few averages of the Marrakech area however this will obviously be totally different. I'm wanting to stay below the snowline as i'm not interested in carrying loads of my winter kit with me. Any information would greatly help my planning in terms of sleeping arrangements and clothing

For anyone that has been before or done something similar- would you have any recommendations as to interesting places to go?

Thanks,

Ste

Snowline above just about everything to the east of Toubkal except Bou Iguenouane and M'goun by late April/early May
