Sail and rock climb in Sweden and Norway on expedition yacht 'Mahi' with Remote Adventures this summer. (see http://www.remoteadventures.co.uk )

Seeking experienced climbers keen to participate in sailing to top rock destinations as we journey up the spectacular coastline this summer. Remote anchorages, wild fjords and outstanding trad and sports climbing close to the sea. We only take 3 to 4 climbers each week and seek to tailor to individual needs on the venues and mix of sailing , climbing and exploring.

Our 12 meter Ovni yacht is a luxury, go anywhere high performance MCA coded cruising sloop skippered by RYA Offshore Yachtmasters Andy and Sian who are also climbers / mountaineers.

For June 24-30 we sail and climb the Bohuslan coast of SW Sweden from Gothenburg to Stromstad near Oslo. World class granite climbing rivalling the quality of Chamonix and Yosemite! Over 40 cliffs to choose from , mainly trad , and some sport crags -especially as we head further north. Whilst the emphasis is on climbing we need to sail between venues so an appetite for sailing is needed to make the most of the week. This coast is a real fjord fiesta pebble dashed with over 8,000 islands so expect some exhilarating sailing, long summer days and a unique coastline off the beaten track. More info on http://www.remoteadventures.co.uk/map-05-june24-30.htm

For August 5-11 we sail the famous Norwegian fjords from Stavanger to Haugesund. Different high quality sports climbing venues are planned for each day. Albeit with some exciting sailing and exploring of the fjords including the famous Pulpit rock and base jumping site at Lyserfjord. Rock climbing from French sport 5-8, so you can select a crag to suit your grades. More info on http://www.remoteadventures.co.uk/map-11-aug5-11.htm

We also have some limited availability on other weeks (mainly in June and September) as we depart from Holland in late May and sail the Kiel canal , Danish islands then north up the Swedish then Norwegian coast towards the Arctic circle by mid September. There will be a greater emphasis on sailing and exploring rather than climbing on these weeks. See our web site for availability .http://www.remoteadventures.co.uk.

We provide all accommodation, bedding, food, meals, drinks, marina fees and fuel. You need to cover flight costs, any transport from the shore to cliffs, the shared cost of the boat and climbing / sailing personal insurance.
