I can't see a major difference between the two (discounting the serrations on the airtech)

Both have anti balls, 12 points, horizontal points, C2.
Is there a difference?

Airtech have shorter points and are better for walking in. G12 points are longer and better on ice.

Pretty much spot on... although the difference is mainly the lenght of downwards pointing points... the front points are about the same, secondary ones might be shorter on Air Techs as well.

Although I like my monopoints, with my Airtechs in the past 12 months I've solo-ed grade III ice and completed Tower Ridge while wearing flexy B1s. I've also climbed tech 5 mixed in B3s/Airtechs without once cursing my equipment. I'm still a hapless punter but those walking crampons can climb pretty well.
