I think I might have lost my old faithful Edge Touring

What would be worth looking at by way of replacement ?

Primary function is navigation and for basic performance log/display (speed and distance, mainly).

By way of up grade I quite like the idea of barometric pressure and possibly HR which would push me to the Edge Touring Plus but is the Edge Explore 820 also worth a look ? the connectivity features look nice but how does it compare with the touring on basics like screen usability, maps etc ? on line reviews are a bit mixed regarding the touch screen. The Edge touring was always reasonably reliable in that respect.

I've an 820 and the screen is a pain in the arse in the rain. If you've not locked it drops of rain make the data fields change. Ballache.

You could get a second hand model, you get quite a few Garmin models on eBay.
