My wife is 16 weeks pregnant and wants to get some new trousers that she'll be able to go walking in while she is larger than usual. She says outdoor maternity wear doesn't seem to be a "thing". Does anyone have any tips?
Google "waist band extenders" - or make your own out of 2mm cord/shock cord. My wife used these on her normal walking trousers/jeans for a while, but then it'll be maternity leggings, or similar.
Don't spend too much money. Despite being desperate for exercise I couldn't walk far at all past around 20 weeks so I spent most of my free time in the swimming pool.
Lorraine McCall began her attempt today at a continuous, self-powered round of the Grahams, a four-month tour of upland Scotland combining walking and bikepacking. If successful, she'll be the first person that we know of to do it.
